What I’ve heard
Note to self-podcast: The Lawsuit that Could Shine a Light on Cambridge Analytica Following a business discussion, I’ve been recently researching intelligent analytics (big data) and become interested as to how companies bring large data sets together and very quickly develop a picture of their customers, products and business model. Firstly its becoming very simple to do this and really accessible for anybody to become more sophisticated into how they analyse data from multiple sources… Anyway I come across a company called Cambridge Analytica a UK business spun out of an academia project at Cambridge university and how they are being investigated for their role in the Trump campaign. This podcast is less than 30 mins and gives a really good intro into the subject and of course the darker side of how such info could be used.
